History

HUDA Development Organization is a non-governmental and non for profit organization established on 13th October, 2009.  HUDA is registered with the Ministry of Economy under license No: 1530.  HUDA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. It is also registered with the Ministry of Women Affairs under license No: 363. The Organization has also signed a MoU with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Afghanistan.

The organization is committed to work with partner organizations and people to initiate and nurture a positive social change.

HUDA Development Organization came into being in 2010 by a group of community development volunteers and research experts. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities through professional needs assessments and initiation of appropriate projects in response to the pressing needs of people.

The key interventions of Huda Development Organization include planning and implementation of humanitarian and development projects, designing feasibility studies, and launching community-based interventions for the development of target communities through best practices. Huda Development Organization adopts a multi-sectoral and in that multidisciplinary approach to community development and hence ensures its services to be delivered in a participatory and dynamic process involving all relevant stakeholders. Huda takes on responsibility to empower women in order to create a positive paradigm shift in communities.

Goal and Objectives

Our key objectives are to:

  • Advance the capacity of state and non-state entities to invent paradigm shift for influencing a positive social change in their organizations and communities; and
  • Reduce disparity and social injustice through equipping Afghan communities with knowledge and skills for a better future.
